CAPITAL OF THE ICEBERGS

With its place among the world's most cherished natural wonders, UNESCO's World Heritage Sites, Sermeq Kujalleq and Ilulissat Icefjord, Ilulissat is a perfect place for you to go flightseeing.

Approx. 100 km to the West of Ilulissat, you have Qeqertarsuaq (Disko Island) and in between, the bay of Qeqertarsuaq (Disko Bay). To the South-West we have the city of Aasiaat.

There are also a lot of settlements in the area, being Ilimanaq and Qasigiannguit to the South, Oqaatsut, Saqqaq, Qeqertaq and the Uummannaq area to the North. To the East is where we have the famous UNESCO Icefjord and glaciers.

The wildlife of the bay is rich. The sea is especially filled with surprises, best spotted from our planes.
