FAQ

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • HOW HIGH DO WE FLY?

We fly at an optimal altitude adapted to our guests’ requests, the weather and other factors.

In Greenland our minimum altitude is 500 feet/160 meters above terrain.

  • CAN WE COMMUNICATE ONBOARD?

Yes, we have a headset for everyone onboard. It has an intercom-system for communication between passengers and the pilot providing a guided experience. Music can also be played at the pilot's discretion.

  • IS THERE A MINIMUM REQUIREMENT?

Yes, we have a minimum of 4 seats paid for.

  • WHAT IF WE ARE ONLY 2 PERSONS / I AM A SOLO TRAVELER?

We will help coordinate your flight in order for you to go. A booking request will be made for others to book themselves onto. Once the minimum is reached, date and time has been settled then the flight can be confirmed.

  • IS MY BOOKING GUARANTEED?

Yes, once your booking has reached our minimum requirement of 4 seats paid for. Of course the weather on the given day, and other unforeseen circumstances can create a delay. Rescheduling can occur. AirZafari will not be held accountable for missed flights, trips or anything related to such.

No. We do not go above clouds, and generally do not fly if the weather is not suitable for a good experience. All our flights are done in the “spirit of sightseeing”.

  • AIRPLANE OR HELICOPTER?

Both are great opportunities to explore!

We at AirZagari offer a unique opportunity to explore and enjoy the view of Greenland. We are able to cover incredible distances with a steady and smooth flight. All passengers onboard our airplanes have a window seat and a headset for communication. We do not land, but instead you get to cover much more ground than usually done by helicopter.

    • If you want to explore something from the ground. Land and enjoy that area then the helicopter is the right choice for you since the destination is the purpose of your flight.
    • If you want to go sightseeing, explore the country and go further for your money, then our airplanes are the perfect choice for you. All of our guests onboard will get their own window seat for maximum view and enjoyment. Here the purpose is to see as much as possible.
